Fun with Master Hwang!

And now for a slighty irreverent but still respectable bit of fun. My eldest son, Duncan Neil Sutherland, has paid his tribute to the greatest Martial Art Movie Kicker and the following pictures are the result. And because we live in the Highlands of Scotland, there are obvious references to Scottish things but it is amazing how well they fit into the world of the Kung Fu film. Hong Kong film makers please note! Explanations are provided for those not fortunate to live in Scotland;-)

These screen captures were taken from Drunken Master. Hwang Jang Lee played Thunderfoot and Jackie Chan played a young and very cheeky Wong Fei-Hung. He really needed someone like Thunderfoot to kick his ass!

Ahhhh, haggis! A Scottish specialty made out of oats, spices and a whole host of unmentionable animal products. Sounds disgusting but tastes delicious! Just the sort of thing Thunderfoot would like to make out of Wong Fei-Hung's testicles.
Thunderfoot in perfect Glasgow dialect: Are you talking to me or are you talking a load of bullshit?
Oh! Looks like Thunderfoot has been going to Gaelic lessons. "Agus" is the Scottish Gaelic word for "and".
Wong Fei-Hung being told a couple of home truths.
Obviously, Thunderfoot supports Rangers Football Club and Wong Fei-Hung supports Celtic.
Yeah, yeah, my son just can't help mentioning dog because Master Hwang is Korean. Poshintang (Dog Soup) rules!
